Churchill Avenue 66

For an existing bungalow in Haarlem, we were commissioned to transform the house into a home that truly suits its occupants – sustainable, timeless and attuned to a contemporary lifestyle.

Churchill Avenue 66

The initial situation – a paved front yard as a parking lot and an enclosed greenhouse addition – did not do justice to the potential of the site and the residents’ wishes. The core of the design was to return the garden to the home: a clear intervention that creates a natural connection between inside and outside. The result is a timeless look that fully reflects the client’s lifestyle and sense of home.
