Founder and Architect
With more than a 15 years of professional experience as a project architect in the Netherlands for firms such as HofmanDujardin and as design director for the international firm Whitespace Architects in Dubai, Dutch architect Paul Coenen founded ATELIER COENEN to focus on boutique projects where architecture, interior design and nature come together.
His talent lies in studying, listening and asking through to the essence of the design task in order to arrive at a clear design solution that reflects the true meaning of each project.
His design approach focuses on the program and lifestyle of the users, creating an indoor-outdoor interplay of composition, form, material and spatial programming that is transformed into a simple yet rich timeless design.
Tamasine McNabb
Partner and interior designer
Tamasine is an international person, originally from Denmark and raised in Tanzania, the Netherlands, Singapore, the United Kingdom and Dubai. She is not afraid to take on new challenges.
With over 8 years of experience as an interior designer at various design firms in both Amsterdam (Tjep. and Studio Linse) and Dubai (Keane), Tamasine is an aesthete at heart.
She is eternally inspired by the beauty of nature, art, craftsmanship, travel and photography and is passionate about finding clever, creative solutions in different diciplines to create one carefully curated image that compliments the user.
